The Bent Spoon, WXPN, and Biking: Growing Intrests.

The Bent Spoon: So Ive always loved the Bent Spoon, but i went recently and thought to myself how amazing it was. I’ts green, good, and local. Its not just good actually, its amazing, each bite is like eating the goodness right out of the earth..but its actually just ice cream. WXPN: I never listen to the radio, but recently Ive been listening to WXPN 88.5 and its introduced me to so much great music…and a lot of local stuff too! There’s nothing i love more than hearing a new band thats awesome. So this radio station had been playing in my car for some time now. I also really want to start going to hear more local bands play. Ever since Art All Night (which ended up being awesome) I realized how much I love live music, especially when its some good local band ive never really heard before.     http://www.xpn.org/

Biking: I’ve been on a bike ride everyday so far this summer. I want to get really into biking. It’s the perfect form of activity for me, You get places, its relaxing, you get to see things. I love being on my bike. So my plan of action is going to be to work up those leg muscles, then ill be ready for a road bike and some sweet gear! Then ill do some triatholon shit.

Hey all, its a day.

Well, today is a day and tomorrow will be another. When 3 weeks are up it will be another, day. A Day, what do you do? Compare what you do in a day to how often you do something enjoyable. Tell me what you think. A day goes by 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 - Your asleep. You wake Up. Your Hot and then your cold. Its now and then its then. It is a day, a day is now. Always it is a day. How can you waist a day without waisting always. Maybe we should not waist a day since waisting a day is waisting always. What will we do in order to not waist day, make the comparison between fun and work ( what you do on a daily basis) closer. You should work, “Work spares us from three evils: boredom, vice, and need.”  (Voltaire). The other (hopefully half) hours of the day should be simply wonderful. It’s all a day, don’t waist it. Live in the now mamazita.

UGG AUSTRALIA.

Well, I’m sure you’ve noticed someone or maybe yourself wearing UGGs, The biggest current Fashion Phenomenon. Yea, I’m not a fan. Why are they worn? If you look at an Ugg, really closely, what do you see? Something beautiful? No, you see a copy of the girl who just walked by, a simple, plain, frumpy, and useless shoe. It’s not worn for comfort, because teen age girls simply don’t wear shoes for comfort. Uggs are a sick sick thing. I guess they are not so sick for the billionaire who had come up with them, but for everyone else, they are just sick. Maybe everyone doesnt buy them because they love them, but to be secure in they’re current social status. Is that ok to you? That So many people have this ugly shoe that in some girl’s minds its socially dangerous to not own a pair of Uggs? Sure, when you put something expensive on, its gratifying, especially when people can tell that it was expensive. I dont understand how it could be gratifying if every other girl owns that item. I dont understand where the passion for buying and wearing Uggs came from. I believe that Uggs are worn by 3 trypes of girls: trashy, unstable, and cautious.

Trashy-

I’m sorry, but I believe that a girl who thinks Uggs are beautiful is trashy. This is because the only reason she likes her uggs is because everyone has them, and for her, fashion derives from what everyone has. This is what makes you trashy, Grow a brain.

Unstable-

This person just wants to fit in, and if that means wearing uggs, she’ll do it.

Cautious-

Like I spoke of before, This person may not love Uggs, but she must have them just so she can say she does.

With all said, Uggs should not be worn, because what it has become is more than a cliche, it’s a lifestyle. And thats Sick.
